Role Summary

The HR Support Coordinator performs essential clerical, administrative, and transactional data entry duties within the HRIS. This role is responsible for daily entry of compensation paperwork, calculating routine bi-weekly pay increases, processing personnel action notices (PANs), and filing compensation records under the guidance of the HR Support Specialist.

Role Responsibilities

Clerical Data Entry: Input routine employee compensation actions, step-rate increases, promotional changes, and job offer data into the HRIS under the direction of the HR Support Specialist.

 

Pay Calculations: Perform standard math calculations for bi-weekly pay increases, retroactive adjustments, and hourly promotion compensation according to pre-set wage scales.

 

Inquiry Log Management: Handle front-line clerical inquiries from the HR team regarding standard pay structures and routing specialized inquiries to the HR Support Specialist.

 

Document Archiving & Verification: Review Personnel Action Notices (PANs) for correct approvals, upload scanned pay files and perform routine pre-entry audit checks.

 

Auditing: Conduct routine verification of employee wage rates and related compensation information to maintain high accuracy and policy compliance.

 

Role Qualifications

  • HRIS Familiarity: Basic user experience (1-3yrs.) with HR software or databases (UKG preferred).
  • Microsoft Office Skills: Basic-to-intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data entry, basic formulas) and Word.
  • Utilize Google Workspace tools to efficiently collaborate, manage data, and streamline daily administrative tasks.
  • Confidentiality: Demonstrated track record of handling sensitive personal and compensation information discreetly.
  • Clerical Organization: Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
  • High School Diploma required
  • High alphanumeric data entry speed, basic arithmetic skills (percentages, hourly conversions), and attention to detail.
  • Must be able to comprehend and follow work instructions to meet productivity and quality standards.
