A successful HR Manager for the URBN Fulfillment/Distribution Centers will play a pivotal role in overseeing day-to-day HR operations. Their responsibilities will extend beyond traditional HR functions, as they navigate the dynamic landscape of an innovative Supply Chain environment. Leveraging their proven track record of success, they will drive our growth trajectory by defining and implementing URBN’s core people strategies.
As an integral part of the leadership team, they will provide strategic guidance in all HR matters, ensuring alignment with our core values while enhancing our organizational culture. Their role encompasses a wide range of generalist HR responsibilities, empowering them to contribute significantly to business discussions. They will challenge existing norms where necessary, leveraging insights and data to facilitate informed decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
Manage the HR team, guiding them through the onboarding process and providing ongoing coaching
to foster continuous competence development.
• In collaboration with the Site Director, drive organizational people training and development
initiatives to maintain high engagement at all levels.
• Foster employee engagement and nurture company culture through collaboration with site
leadership.
• Define and implement initiatives aligned with business objectives to enhance long-term performance
and achieve goals.
• Lead talent management efforts, including onboarding, training & development, and succession
planning.
• Collaborate with the Centralized Planning team to create peak headcount plans.
• Ensure employee compliance through regular payroll records audits and information accuracy
validation.
• Collaborate closely with the Talent Acquisition team and site leadership to meticulously orchestrate
recruiting and onboarding procedures, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for candidates,
both direct hires and those sourced through agencies.
• Direct and coordinate facility activities to optimize operations.
• Ensure adherence to the facility's HR processes, procedures, and initiatives.
• Provide onsite assistance and address employee inquiries as needed.
• Communicate company policies and procedures to all employees, enforcing standards consistently.
• Conduct employee investigations when necessary, ensuring fair policy application and coaching
leadership and hourly employees on best practices.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Sr. Human Resources Manager Supply Chain.

• In line with business needs, define and implement initiatives to improve long-term business

• Partner with the Talent Acquisition Team and oversee all recruiting efforts and involvement in the
community
• Talent Management: Leading Onboarding, training & development, succession planning
• Led and managed the HR team while ensuring People priorities are implemented and followed
• Assist in creating peak headcount plans and work with agencies to ensure staffing needs are met
• Ensure employee compliance by auditing payroll records, validating employee and company
information is accurate
• Ensure high engagement in the locations, organizational development
• Plan, direct and coordinate the activities for their facility
• Active Business Partner to location leaders
• Secure HR processes and procedures and initiative are implemented and followed up in the facility
• Facilitate the onboarding for HR Generalists and secure competence within HR team
• Available for onsite assistance and questions
• Communicate company policies and procedures to all employees and enforce company standards
• Conduct employee investigations as needed, ensure consistent application of policy, coach and
mentor leadership and hourly employees on best practices
• Ability to support a 24/7 environment that has multiple shifts and significant staffing ramps
throughout the year. Must be willing to work a flexible schedule (inclusive of on call) that includes
nights, weekends and holidays. Must be able to be in the office 5 days a week.

5 years of increased responsibility in the Human Resources field
• Bachelor’s required in related field
• 3 plus years leading and managing HR team
• Strong analytical, problem solving and reporting skills
• Excellent leadership, team building, communication and organizational skills
• Experienced at working with speed, pragmatism and professionalism, ideally in an entrepreneurial
culture
• Has operated at scale and complexity.
• Strategic HR thinking: has clear business acumen and passion, and is able to develop and articulate a
HR/OD agenda that'll drive positive outcomes.
• Open, practical and pragmatic. Able to balance a high volume of conflicting priorities and works with
energy and pace.
• Great relationship builder: connects effectively across a range of senior professional leaders and
personalities, and can work effectively across boundaries and networks.
