Role Summary

The Asset Protection Manager is responsible for leading all loss prevention and security initiatives within a designated supply chain center. This role ensures the protection of company assets, minimizes shrink, and supports operational excellence through proactive risk mitigation and investigative strategies.

Role Responsibilities

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Be Supportive: Collaborate with supply chain leadership to align AP strategies with business goals. Foster cross-functional partnerships with operations, and HR IT teams.
  • Be Resourceful: Develop and implement strategies to reduce shrink, theft, and fraud. Provide guidance on inventory accuracy and audit processes.
  • Be Professional: Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures related to loss prevention.
  • Be Diligent: Conduct internal investigations and partner with HR and legal as needed.
  • Monitor incident trends and develop action plans to address vulnerabilities.
  • Be Approachable: Supervise and develop AP staff, including training, coaching, and performance management.
  • Be Precise: Monitor KPIs related to shrink and incident trends; report findings to senior leadership.
  • Be Flexible: Adapt AP strategies to evolving business needs and operational changes.
  • Be Available: Respond promptly to incidents and provide on-site support when necessary.

 

SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, Day Shift (hours may include nights and weekends based on business needs)

Role Qualifications

Knowledge, Experience & Skills Required:

  • Associates Degree in Criminal Justice or Business Administration; or relevant experience
  • 5 - 7 years of loss prevention, security, or safety experience; preferred with first aid/ CPR/ AED training.
  • Certification in LP (e.g., LPC, CFI) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and computer skills.
  • Working knowledge of security equipment preferred (CCTV, alarm systems, and access control)
  • Must be able to understand written and oral directions in English
  • Must be able to write in English

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to manipulate a keyboard for extended periods of time
  • Climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • Ability to use a computer for extended periods of time
  • Lift freight and other objects of various shapes, sizes and weights up to 50 pounds
