Role Summary

As a Procurement Inventory Coordinator, your role is pivotal in managing resources and coordinating activities to meet or exceed supply needs dictated by the business. Your unwavering professionalism, meticulous accuracy, and exceptional math and observational skills are crucial in this process. You can expect to work closely with leaders, develop and improve existing procedures and SOP, and play a key role in preventing losses. 

As an inventory coordinator, you must demonstrate excellent interpersonal communication skills, a firm grasp of basic computer programs, and an ability to work independently and in a team.

 

Schedule: KC1 D582 (Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm)

Role Responsibilities

  • Maintain a Safe, Organized, Clean, and Secure environment.
  • Daily Inventory Counts
  • Monthly Full Inventory Counts
  • Controls flow of equipment and supplies.
  • Reports to management and advises on process improvements.
  • Develop loss mitigation processes and protocols.
  • Trains less experienced inventory team members.
  • Compiles inventory reports.
  • Partners with Purchaser to ensure inventory is within thresholds.
  • Receive and process all supply shipments.
  • BOL reconciliation.
  • General Inventory research.
  • Pays close attention to detail and sustains productivity.
  • Maintains clean and organized inventory locations.
  • Monitor supply thresholds.
  • All other duties assigned to the Purchasing Specialist/Procurement Manager.

Role Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Preferred 2-3 years of related work experience.
  • Prior experience as an equipment operator, including forklift or high reach.
  • Dependable with excellent organizational and efficiency skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and within time constraints.
  • Proficient in math and basic budget management.
  • Skilled in navigating computer programs and using radio frequency equipment.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Maintain acceptable attendance and must be able to work overtime as required.

Physical Requirements

  • Stand and walk throughout a shift 
  • Climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl for extended periods 
  • Reach, pull, push, and lift freight and other objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights up to 50 pounds 
  • Operate warehouse equipment safely as required for the position (i.e. pallet jack, box cutter, carts) which requires coordinated movements.

Pay Range

Starting from USD $19.75/Hr.
